THIS IS DEFINITELY TRUE, WE ALL UNDERESTIMATE THE DANGER OF SUGAR AND HOW MANY OF US ACTUALLY KNOW THAT CARBS ARE AS BAD

An excellent piece on why sugar is so dangerous and until you have been diagnosed withimages-003 diabetes type 2 you just do not realise how much of this stuff you really eat. If someone had said to me a year ago that I would have this illness I would have said definitely NO! I felt that I did not eat that much sugary foods WRONG, when you start adding up your carbs and sugar (because carbs contribute to your high sugar intake) it totally surprises you exactly what this sugar and carbohydrates are in. Manufacturers have very helpfully signposted on the front of packets what is high in fat and sugar and what is high in protein but you do not see the carb value until you scrutinize the fine print on the back of the packet. This I think needs changing dont you?
